TwitterFacebookPinterestEmailNew division expected to help drive organic growth beginning with first product – the Newton Motion driver shaftCAMARILLO, CA, – Sacks Parente Golf, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPGC) (“SPG” or the “Company”), a technology-forward golf company with a growing portfolio of golf products, including putters, golf shafts, golf grips, and other golf-related accessories, proudly unveils a significant expansion of its product portfolio. Introducing “Newton,” SPG’s latest business division and the Company’s first foray into the world of golf club shafts. “We’re proud to introduce Newton shafts, a new business division at Sacks Parente Golf,” said Tim Triplett, President, CEO and Co-founder Sacks Parente Golf. “This expansion into golf club shafts complements our well-established putter division, reflecting our ongoing commitment to innovation and quality. We’re looking forward to seeing Newton enhance the game for golfers worldwide.” The Newton Motion driver shaft, the first Newton shaft to debut in the market, is a carbon fiber shaft designed to enhance a golfer’s performance by promoting straighter and longer shots with reduced effort. Using the Company’s proprietary shaft design and construction, the Newton Motion shaft features four essential technologies:
“Countless golfers grapple with a common predicament – a rushed transition at the pinnacle of their swing that triggers an alarming signal in their minds, leaving them uneasy about their swing,” said Aki Yorihiro, SPG’s Director, Chief Technology Officer. “With the combination of our four technologies, we replace those signals with a clear message to the brain: ‘Your swing is in harmony – trust the shaft.’ The result? Achieving straighter and longer drives effortlessly.” In addition to the four aforementioned technologies, instead of using the traditional categorization of shaft flexes of ladies, senior, regular, stiff, extra-shift, etc., the Newton Motion shaft uses a DOT system. Ranging from one to six dots, the system allows for a seamless transition from the most flexible shaft at one dot to the stiffest at six dots. SPG’s innovative DOT system, employed by SPG’s expert shaft engineers, optimizes golf shaft performance by fine-tuning it to golfer’s unique abilities, leaving traditional flex systems in the past. “We’ve developed the progressive DOT flex system to eliminate the confusion of the traditional system that define flexes based on gender, age, or stiffness,” added Yorihiro. “We created a simplified approach based on physics, ensuring a perfect fit for every golfer.” The Newton Motion shaft is visually captivating. When in motion, the shaft undergoes a mesmerizing color transformation from green to purple and various shades in between. The coloration not only adds a dash of style to a golfer’s game but it also distinguishes itself from other shafts in the market. Top PGA TOUR Champions player Ken Duke used the shaft for the first time in the TOUR’S Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS event and ranked first in driving accuracy. Since he put the Newton shaft in his bag, he’s finished first, third, tied for 12th, and tied for first in driving accuracy on the PGA Tour Champions. The Newton shafts are manufactured in St. Joseph, Missouri, SPG’s shaft manufacturing facility. Availability: Date: November 20, 2023 Street Price: $250.00 Specifications: The shafts are sold “ready to play.” Shaft adapter and grip are included. The grip is a Lamkin Crossline 360. There are adaptor options to choose from for the driver head. SPG uses a dotted shaft flex system ranging from one to six dots.

Before you get excited, no Covel isn't a new 18 hole course down the road from your house! But, you should still become a member of Club Covel! “I should a been a golfer!”, was never a country music song! But, it could still be someday. Let me start by saying, I'm a huge Toby Keith fan. Beyond his music; it's his work with military charities and his “direct action” support of our troops. Why am I talking about Toby Keith? Well, Way back in 1984 a cowboy met a lady and got married. Toby had met Tricia Covel in 1981 and the cowboy and lady have been together ever since. While Toby was off smashing country records and entertaining the troops, Tricia went to establishing her own career as a fashion designer. In 2013 she created the Swing Dish line as a luxury women's golf apparel brand. The line has been highly successful ever since. Not to be one to rest on her laurels, Tricia has now launched he men's line of golf apparel. I wonder of the fact that Toby is a “golf-a-holic” had any baring on her mind to launch the Covel mens line? The www.clubcovel.com website tells us, “Covel is the newest men’s sportswear brand to be released by well-known athletic apparel designer Tricia Covel (of SwingDish fame). The vision was simple, to create a men's line that outshines the competition in all categories: fit, fabric and design. Covel symbolizes Strength, Tradition, Sophistication and Style. The STRENGTH of your body to perform. The TRADITION of sport and spirit of competition. The SOPHISTICATION and STYLE that exudes confidence. The crested horse head logo is a nod to the family’s thoroughbred raising roots as well as the English origin of the family name. Lauded for their fabrics, Covel uses high-tech, luxury, performance fabrics that offer SPF 50+ protection, are moisture-wicking, breathable and stretch. Coordinated color pallets allow it to subtly coordinate with styles from Covel’s sister brand, SwingDish, giving an elevated look for couple’s tournaments and team play but the pieces are designed to stand on their own with a sophistication that let's you take your look from course to work to an evening out. Comfort, function and style are some of the founding principles that lead the brands design team in their efforts to create pieces that men will come back to time and time again. Made to live, work and play, the brand offers essentials for every man.” The good folks at Covel sent me a shirt recently, thank you, and I have to say I love the fabric, feel and comfort. But, more importantly, I have to admit I resemble Oscar Madison from the Odd Couple in as far as my care for my wardrobe. Meaning, unlike Felix Unger who presses and irons his socks; I'm a wear it and wash kind of guy! I have ruined some nice clothes in my day. My Covel shirt came out of three washes looking and feeling as fresh, smart and stylish as the day I took it out of it's shipping package. So, here's a thumbs up to Covel. You should become a member to of Club Covel. ![]() Imagine Tiger Woods and Rory being among those on Tour who are playing your ball! Man that's what every golf equipment manufacturer would want! Imagine top Tour pros playing your ball! Wow! That was the case for the guys at RZN golf balls. Working with NIKE and the NIKE golf platform they perfected their balls design. Their unique design earned more than 50 victories on Pro Tours! Then without warning in 2016 NIKE canceled it's golf platform. The guys at RZN didn't sit around and cry about spilled milk. Nope! They laced up their boots, put on their war paint and went into business for them-self's. The now give the world their RZN Golf Balls! Before we begin the story of RZN golf balls; let's “edj-um-cate” you on the basics of a golf ball. A golf ball is made up of a Core, a Mantle and a Cover. The Core: Speed and Velocity all begin here in the core! The core is vital! As the Driver smacks the Cover of the ball and the ball begins to fly it looses energy as it flights to break through gravity and wind. The Core is made from polybutadiene rubber. This compressed rubber helps retain the initial energy from the initial smack of the driver. Use a cheap rubber and you'll have a cheap core. A cheap core equals less speed and velocity and the ball goes less distance. The Mantle: Spin and Distance come from the mantle of the ball. The first job of the mantle is to keep water out of the core. Simple enough. However, depending on the thickness of the Mantle your ball will spin more or less. It's third job is to also help in that initial energy retention that the Driver created. Use a thin and cheap Mantle material and your ball wont spin or go very far and may even get water logged once you put it in that creek on the left side of Hole number 8 at your local CC. The Cover: Urethane polymer makes up all Cover. Now, the dimples on the Cover impact the ball in many, many ways. The dimples rip through the air. The Cover also helps with spin. Combine the Cover, Mantle and Core and you have a golf ball! OK, moving onto the RZN's. Let's break down the balls by The Core, Mantle and Cover. Their website tells us: 1. RESIN CORE A. Compared with rubber core, resin core is lighter and faster. Applying resin core to ball design not only enhances the ball performance in many ways, but also helps the nature-caring with fully recyclable materials. B. High MOI (moment of inertia): A feature only for balls with resin inner core + rubber outer core, such as RZN Pro and RZN Distance. This technology grants the ball with a piercing and stable flight, especially in windy conditions. 2. SPEED LOCK CORE3D texture to maximize contact surface for better energy transfer and longer distance. 3. SPEED LOCK MANTLE3D texture on a mantle surface to maximize energy transfer for higher speed in all shots. Mantle has more contact area with cover = Mantle grabs cover better for more greenside spin. 4. MICRO DIMPLE SURFACEA. 13,558 micro-dimples on the entire ball surface. B. Reduces air drag and enhances carry distance. 5. ANTI SLIP URETHANEOur soft TPU cover enhances grip and control in wet conditions. Ok, so now we know the tech that goes into their balls, let's talk about the two I played. The MS-TOUR and RZN Distance: Both balls performed as equals to my trusty SRIXONS. I play Callaway's off the tees and SRIXONS from 200 yards and in. RZN MS-TourSOFT & POWERFUL OUR EASIEST PLAYING TOUR BALL FOR ALL SWING SPEEDS RZN MS-Tour is a three piece tour performance golf ball with soft urethane cover and 3D speed lock technology. Designed with state of the art technology of the RZN Brand. Expect a soft and powerful tour ball targeted for Medium Swing speed players. RZN DISTANCESPECIAL RESIN CORE FOR A PURE DISTANCE BALL RZN Distance is a three piece golf ball with a resin core and high resilient ionomer cover manufactured with state of the art technology of the RZN Brand. It’s designed to maximize distance with effortless swing while keeping a soft feel of the ball. ![]() Wow, the Mazel Wedge is like having a Wizards Magic Wand in your bag! it works miracles. First off, I love the funky color of the MAZEL Wedge. It's a modern, flashy, fun color. Golf is supposed to be fun. It's sold by Mazel Golf at www.mazelgo.com at the: MAZEL Colorful Golf Sand Wedge. Ok, it's the Milled Club Face that strikes your attention first. It's the foundation of the club. It's where the magic happens. It's Soul has a 20 degree of Bounce that is as steep as the Swiss Alps! Meaning the Soul is as big as Mother Theresa's! But it's the face design that is effective! This 55 degree wedge cuts through grass and sand like a red hot knife through butter! First the groves have a rough or granular feeling on the faces that are there. I used it out of the rough and out of the sand and from the fairway! First, the fairway. I was surprised at how heavy the club face and hozel are. This heaviness seems odd at first, but once you get used to the weight I found the MAZEL to be an effective tool from around 60 yards out and into the green. Second, the rough. Yes, it works and it works well. Two reasons. The big Soul and big Bounce coupled with the milled face creates less friction as you rip through the grass. Third, the sand. Yes, it works and it works well. Two reasons. The milled face creates less friction as you rip through the sand. We were always taught that the sand will push the balls off the club face and to “take sand” as it were. The MAZEL is built antithetically. It wants you to carve through the sand and let the milled club face do the work. Combine the milled club face with the massive soul and the weight of the wedge and I have to tell you the ball moves! In fact, we all dread the duffed shot from the bunker! God forbid we have to take three strokes just to get off the beach and onto the green. “Curse you Golf Gods!”, we scream as we throw our wedge at or near or bag. But instead it hits the Caddy at Oakmont in the middle of his forehead and your troubles are compounded by the impending lawsuit! Guess what? With the MAZEL wedge you don't have to worry about the lawsuit! I filmed video for our Golfin' Around TV Show and I hit ten balls out of the bunker from different lies. All ten shots flew out of the bunker! Now look, I have no idea if the MAZEL is USGA legal and if you could use it during your local tournament. But, for pounding around the track with you playing partners; it will do your game wonders! Get one today at www.mazelgo.com It will be $99.00 well spent. Better than the lawsuit! My only beef is that I like a much thicker grip, so I have since put on a JUMBO MAX golf grip. The Mazel website tells us: MAZEL Hollow Out Design Colorful Golf Sand Wedge Eliminated thin and fat chips shots from the fringe and around the green. Well balanced and easy to strike the ball, this sand wedge will be a great addition to your short game Innovative hollow design helps reduce hitting friction in the sand or turf ,make the player more confident Rainbow color plating made the wedge more fashion Made of Stainless 431,CNC milled face. Electroplated Surface Electroplated and high polish finish, corrosion resistant for more durable use, also the colorful surface will make your club unique & attractive in the golf course! Wide Sole The extra wide sole design promotes extra forgiveness even on off-center shots and beveled leading edge prevent digging; No more chunked pitch and chip shots reduces wasted strokes. Easier Swing This MAZEL golf wedge with 55/59 degree high loft is easy for golfers to get the ball up to clear the lip and stop it quickly on the green. Easy swing will promote greater confidence when standing over the ball! Reduce Friction Through the Sand The mazel golf wedge clubs feature a unique hollow design that reduces frictional resistance with sand and makes it easier to control direction and strength to improve your performance. Golfin' Around contacted the USGA about the Mazel Wedge: The wedge pictured is NOT conforming. We’ve had nearly identical submissions in the past. Golf Clubs are not allowed to have holes through the face. This is from the Equipment Rules: 4. Clubhead a. Plain in Shape The clubhead must be generally plain in shape. All parts must be rigid, structural in nature and functional. The clubhead or its parts must not be designed to resemble any other object. It is not practicable to define plain in shape precisely and comprehensively. However, features that are deemed to be in breach of this requirement and are therefore not permitted include, but are not limited to: (i) All Clubs • holes through the face; • holes through the head (some exceptions may be made for putters and cavity back irons); • features that are for the purpose of meeting dimensional specifications; • features that extend into or ahead of the face; • features that extend significantly above the top line of the head; • furrows in or runners on the head that extend into the face (some exceptions may be made for putters); and • optical or electronic devices.
