Bob Winskowicz worked for the Arnold Palmer company for many years. He was in charge of apparel. Times change and people move on in their careers.


But Bob had a nagging desire. A desire to create a more perfect golf shoe.


So Bob put pen to paper. What should a golf shoe do? It should improve your balance and stability.

Bob thought, “Darn it! I'm tired of having to retie my shoes ten times a round. And why the heck should my toes be all swooshed together; that's not comfortable at all. And I'm tired of my feet feeling like I worked in a coal mine for twelve hours after playing one round of golf!”

If I wear the wrong shoes for anything and I mean anything; my legs start to tingle, my lower back muscles seize up and if I'm really lucky my left leg goes numb and it will collapse underneath the weight of my body. It's nothing that two fourteen hour back surgeries wont fix. Of course, the two metal rods in my back will make golf impossible.
